Mike Barons is a 20 year + veteran of the billiard industry. He founded Baron's Billiards Inc. in 1989 when he opened his first pool hall. It quickly expanded into a pro-shop and pool table sales. His reputation for excellence grew quickly and he became the largest Olhausen dealer in central New Hampshire. His client list includes famous sports figures, CEOs of major corporations and notable local business owners.
In 2007 Mike decided it was time to start building the product he was so successful at selling. He was no stranger to carpentry, as his father is an accomplished carpenter himself (as well as a published author and painter), and the the rustic and log designs appealed to him more than the standard furniture styles more commonly associated with todays pool tables. He then met Keith Josselyn, of Josselyn's Sawmill, who became his primary supplier of wood stock. His creations are not just built in New Hampshire, they are grown here too.
Mike personally hand selects every piece of wood that is incorporated into his pool tables, game tables and furniture. He will even visit your property and scour the surrounding forested areas looking for fallen branches and logs so that they too can become part of your custom creations. Mike then personally installs every piece he creates to ensure the highest standard of professional playability.
